Mike and Marv started Sammy J Peppers after being involved in the restaurant business for many years. They both had worked in every position in a restaurant; bussing, dishwashing, cooking, serving, bartending and managing and found there were many things that could be changed to make a restaurant operation more appealing to the public and run more efficiently as a business.

They also felt there was plenty of room for a different type of restaurant in the lower mainland - something unique that this area had not seen before. With the growth expectation in Langley, it was the perfect place to start this concept and they did.

In June of 1996, Sammy J Peppers opened its doors in Langley and has been increasing in popularity ever since. What has emerged over the years from many hours of brainstorming and hard work is an upbeat, affordable fresh food eatery, steakhouse and hot shop for business people, adults and families alike.

Each Sammy's is designed to offer the best of both worlds. Each location has a comfortable dining area for those romantic get-togethers, birthdays or just a meal out with friends as well each have an amazing sports lounge all centered by a 100" big screen TV complete with state of the art sounds systems.
